First things first – book an appointment.
This meeting with our sales manager will allow you to go over basic information, floor plans/drawings and have your questions answered. After this meeting, our sales manager will create a 3D drawing on his computer. Once completed you will be notified and a second appointment will be made. At this point you will be able to view your drawings, go over a quote, and change or add any information. Once all details are finalized a contract will be created for you.
Upon creation of your contract you will need to:
1. Sign & date your contract.
2. Leave a non-refundable 50% deposit of the total cost of your cabinets. We take cash, personal cheque or credit card cheque only.
Once your deposit is made your job will be put into production. Estimated time on all jobs, unless otherwise stated, is 2 months from the date which you leave a deposit & sign your contract.
Please note we do not make house calls until the final measurement. Just before your cabinets are created our sales manager will come to your home to confirm measurements.
What do I bring to my appointment?
- Floor plans or a sketch of the entire room.
- Pictures of the area. If you are unable to bring us copies, you can bring your camera to the meeting or send your pictures by email.
- Wall to wall measurements. This includes floor to ceiling. Remember to note any bulkheads, boxed in pipes, chimney, etc..
- Make note of: Windows, doorways, plug-ins, plumbing, electrical, gas lines, phone lines, internet, and vacuum outlets.
- Do you want your appliances to remain where they are or can they be moved?
- Any additional information about your room or ideas that you feel may be important for us to know.
KCDW Cabinet Designer is a computer program that allows our clients to see their projects in a three dimensional format. It is a drafting program that is specially designed for drawing cabinetry. It shows the details of the project including the style of doors, drawers, countertop colours, and appliances.
