Mirage Woodworks was opened in July 2008 by two young entrepreneurial couples, Martin and Shelley Bettker and AJ and Crystal Itterman. The two couples bring a family connection; Shelley and Crystal are sisters.  They also share a strong work ethic and bring knowledge of the industry to the market.

The couples grew up in rural settings in Saskatchewan. They were raised to work hard and as adults they moved to Saskatoon to set roots for their families. Before opening Mirage Woodworks they all worked in different areas. AJ has worked in all areas in the cabinet industry for the past 15 years and Crystal is a very successful Occupational Therapist. Martin ran a large cattle and grain operation while Shelley taught elementary school and ran several home-based businesses. It is this varied background that gives them great management team; they all have something different to offer their customers.
